East Tennessee School of Preaching Student
Purpose
The purpose of East Tennessee School of Preaching is to provide tuition-free college-level training to prepare faithful men to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ, and to prepare faithful men and women in other areas of Christian service. In pursuit of this purpose, the school operates according to the following guidelines:
1. It is a ministry of the Karns Church of Christ, under the oversight of its elders, with support and assistance from sister congregations and individual Christians.
2. Quality instruction is provided for those who may be unable to attend regular colleges or who prefer intensive biblical studies instead of a more general liberal arts education.
3. The Bible is recognized as the inspired, inerrant, and authoritative word of God.
4. The instructors are qualified both by education and experience, and demonstrate in their own lives the teaching of Jesus Christ.
5. Preparation for Christian service involves development according to biblical standards in every aspect of life. This includes knowledge, skills, character, social relationships, and personal commitment.

North Carolina School of Biblical Studies Student
Purpose
The Warners Chapel church of Christ has been in existence since 1880 and has demonstrated a desire to train preachers for many years. Recent studies have concluded that we are losing more preachers each year than we are training. It is with this statistic in mind that we have dedicated our efforts toward advancing the cause of Christ by establishing a school that will train men to preach the Gospel and strengthen brethren in the surrounding areas of North Carolina, Virginia and South Carolina. The North Carolina School of Biblical Studies (NCSBS) is under the oversight of the Warners Chapel elders. ---Elders Warners Chapel Church of Christ
